Tulip Block Printing Cushion Cover Workshop with Molly Mahon

Join printmaker Molly Mahon for a one-day workshop to experience the joy of block printing. You will design and print your own cushion cover to take home and cherish.
Using Molly’s carved wooden tulip blocks and palette of eco-friendly paints, you will experiment with colour and pattern. You will design and print your own 30x40cm cushion cover.
After a two-course lunch, you will embellish your cushions with Molly’s fabulous array of cotton threads. Adding some simple French knots or back stitch, perhaps a little monogramming over the top of your designs can add depth, texture and an even more personalised touch.
You will be working with fabric paint – aprons are provided for use on the day, but we advise not to wear your finery!
Gathering at 9.30am and finishing at approximately 3.00pm.
£185.00 per person, includes tea/coffee and pastries on arrival, 2 course lunch, a glass of wine, the workshop and all required materials (cushion cover/ cushion pad / embroidery materials etc). The workshop is suitable for all levels with no experience necessary.
