BBC Gardeners World - Christmas Reader Day 2025

Thursday 4th December 2025

Join us for a delightful winter experience featuring an inspiring talk on Winter Gardening, a festive Christmas Flower Demonstration, a delicious lunch, and joyful Carol Singing. Immerse yourself in the seasonal magic as the manor is beautifully decorated for Christmas, creating a warm and enchanting atmosphere.

10:30am – Tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival, with a welcome from the Gardeners World Team 

11:00am – Talk by Head Gardener Tom Coward followed by Q&A

11.45am – English Sparkling Wine reception with local Sussex vineyard Roebuck

12 noon – Christmas Carols performance

12.30pm – A 3 course lunch will be served in our Michelin starred glass fronted restaurant with views of the garden. Please note guests will be sat at shared tables

2.30pm – Head Florist Sharon Coote will conduct a Christmas wreath demonstration

3.00pm – Head Gardener Tom will escort guests to the Flower Garden from where guests are free to explore the rest of the garden, including the kitchen garden.

4.30pm – Depart with a complimentary goody bag.

£220.00 per person - inclusive of tea/coffee, talk, aperitif, three courses with wine, flower demonstration and a goody bag.
