An Exclusive Tasting & Dinner for the Launch of Squerryes’ Patience 2014 at Gravetye Manor
Friday 3rd July 2026
Gravetye Manor is delighted to host an exceptionally rare Squerryes Wine Dinner, celebrating the launch of ‘Patience 2014’, the first release in Squerryes prestige wines collection. Set within the picturesque landscape of Westerham, Squerryes’ 50-acre single vineyard forms part of a 2,500-acre estate that has been the home of the Warde family for 300 years.
Since 2018, the team at Squerryes has worked to produce a specific ‘Patience’ blend, unlike any other wine in their range. Made only from the finest parcels in exceptional vintages, this wine captures a singular expression of place and time. Every bottle of Patience sits in its meticulously considered keepsake box, with gold agrafe closure and bespoke brass opener offering a carefully curated theatre, to be performed at a moment of significance.
For more than a decade, ninth-generation estate owner Henry Warde who, alongside his father John planted the estate’s vines in 2006, has held a vision to create a wine inspired by his ancestor Patience Warde (1629–1696). Patience’s story reminds us of what is important to us as individuals today; each unique and entirely personal, each equally significant.
Guests are invited to enjoy an exquisite three-course dinner created by our Michelin starred Executive Chef, Martin Carabott. The evening will be hosted by Tom Surgey, Patience & Trade Lead for Squerryes, alongside Henry Warde, who will share the story behind Patience, the thinking behind the blend, and what makes the inaugural 2014 vintage so special.
Arrival at 7:15pm for a Squerryes aperitif, followed by dinner served in our oak-panelled private dining room. The starter will be paired with Squerryes’ Patience 2014, followed by wines from other producers paired with the main course and dessert. With just 3,000 bottles produced of the inaugural Patience 2014, this is a rare opportunity to taste a true English prestige wine in an intimate setting, complemented by Gravetye’s refined, seasonal cooking.
Tickets are priced at £185 per person, inclusive of aperitif, three-course dinner with paired wines, and coffee. Please note that guests will be seated on shared tables.
