Gravetye Manor × Alex Monroe: A Collection Inspired by Our Gardens

October 2026

Our gardens have inspired generations of artists writers and makers. Now, their seasonal beauty has found a new expression in a limited edition jewellery collection, created in partnership with British designer Alex Monroe and launching on 15th October 2026.

Bringing together our shared love of nature, heritage and British craftsmanship, the 13 piece collection celebrates some of the flowers and plants most closely associated with Gravetye.

A Garden for Every Season

From the first snowdrops of winter to the dahlias that bring colour to our autumn borders, there is always something to discover in the gardens. These seasonal favourites provided the starting point for the collection: delicate snowdrops, our showstopping white wisteria, summer strawberries and autumn dahlias. Each has been reimagined in jewellery that captures its distinctive character, from the curve of a petal to the smallest botanical detail.

The collection includes dainty studs, statement earrings, delicate necklaces and a nostalgic charm bracelet, offering different ways to carry a little of Gravetye with you.

From Garden to Workshop

Alex worked closely with our Head Gardener, Tom Coward, to explore the plants and flowers that make Gravetye so special. Those conversations, and time spent walking through the gardens, helped shape the designs.

“Walking through the gardens, you can’t help but notice the extraordinary attention to detail and the abundance of plants, each with its own character and story,” says Alex.

Each piece is handcrafted at his London workshop in sterling silver and 22ct fairmined gold plate. The collection reflects the careful observation of nature that runs through Alex’s work, alongside the romance and beauty of Gravetye’s gardens.

His first standalone collaboration with a hotel, it is also one of a select few partnerships celebrating 40 years of the Alex Monroe brand, founded in 1986.

A Natural Partnership

Since William Robinson purchased Gravetye in 1884, the gardens have been central to its story. His pioneering approach to naturalistic planting continues to guide their care today, under Tom and his team.

That connection with nature reaches into every part of life at the manor, from the produce grown for our Michelin starred restaurant to the flowers arranged throughout the house. Collaborating with a designer whose work is so deeply rooted in the British countryside felt like a natural next chapter.

“The gardens at Gravetye Manor are at the very heart of everything we do,” says Celine Leslie. “Together we’ve created pieces we hope people not only enjoy wearing now, but that also become treasured keepsakes for years to come.”

A Little of Gravetye to Treasure

Whether chosen as a reminder of a happy visit, a gift for a garden lover or simply a piece to enjoy every day, the collection offers a lasting connection to this special place.

The Gravetye Manor × Alex Monroe collection launches on 15th October 2026 and will be available to purchase at Gravetye Manor and through the Alex Monroe website.

Prices start from £120 for the strawberry and dahlia stud earrings in silver.
