A commis chef at Gravetye Manor is a passionate and driven individual who does not necessarily need to have the knowledge or skills of a top-end kitchen, but should be willing to work hard to learn them from the guidance of those above.  It is a position where the chef will grow in confidence, understanding and refinement of fine food to become a valued member of a positive team pushing to provide the best culinary experience that they are capable of in one of the most highly regarded country house hotels in Britain.
