This is the engine room of the garden, and makes everything we do possible. We have 5 Victorian glass houses, which have recently been restored and we consider it a privilege to work with such rare and beautiful buildings. Most of the glass house space is used to propagate and grow plants for the garden but the largest and most magnificent glass house is used for growing crops for the kitchens. This is the peach house and because of the tradition of the building we planted four new peaches immediately after its renovation early this year. We have also used this building to grow some of the best tomatoes we have ever had, which should keep cropping deep into the autumn.
