Exclusive Use & Weddings

Gravetye is the ideal hotel for a special occasion or event, and we are able to offer you the use of the entire hotel. We are licensed to hold Civil Weddings and Partnerships up to 60 people. Accommodation is available from 2pm on the day of arrival until 11am the following day.

Main Restaurant

The dining room comfortably seats 60 people for a sit down meal. This would be on 6 round tables of 10.

Private Dining Room

This smaller dining room is situated next to the main restaurant and can seat sixteen people. Alternatively it is an ideal children's play/entertainment area at a wedding.

Main Sitting Room

Weddings and Partnerships for up to 60 people can take place in this room. This room leads onto the terrace and overlooks the formal gardens. In the evening the room can be used for live music or a disco.

For meetings this room can seat 17 people in a board room style or 25 theatre seating. It can also be left with its sofas and chairs in an informal setting and seat 12 comfortably.

Private Sitting Room

For those wanting a small Wedding or Partnership and this room has been licensed for up to 12 people. Our Private dinning room is then ideal to have lunch or early supper following the ceremony.

This room can be used as a breakout room when exclusive use of the house is taken, it comfortable seats 12 in a board room style. It is air conditioned.
